Pensando Partnership

The Aruba/Pensando partnership announcement was by far the most important takeaway from Atmosphere 22.

As key sponsors for the event, Pensando showcased game-changing switching technology that aims to transform complex, inefficient switching solutions. This partnership is going to bring a whole new approach to switching architecture in several ways.

  1. Increase efficiency
  2. Reduce costs
  3. Avoid complexity
  4. Improve scalability

"Aruba and Pensando have enabled the industry's first distributed services architecture that allows enterprises to create and operate network infrastructures that perform and scale just like the hyperscale infrastructure giants." - Alan Weckel, Founder, 650 Group

Edge Revolution

The cloud is moving to the edge, and whilst this has been transformational for remote working, it has also created a number of challenges around onboarding, visibility and security. With this in mind, organisations must re-think their security architecture and ensure each platform needs to be secured.

Aruba Edge-to-Cloud Security brings organisations architecture that enables organisations to implement end-to-end network solutions, with security built-in from the start.

"Whatever the platform is, each one needs to be secured. So, bringing that security to the edge is really important." - Josh Matheus, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs

Automation

Automation has become a key component of every organisation, providing solutions to overcome traditional, manual processes, as well as providing a simpler way to manage different business areas, projects and teams. This is set to continue through 2022 and beyond. Automation can transform your processes and allow day-to-day tasks to run more efficiently.

Implementing automation tools can bring your organisation a number of benefits, including:

  • Minimising costs across different departments
  • Creating agility within your processes
  • Reducing complex, time-consuming tasks
  • Generating business insights and reporting to assess efficiency and productivity
  • Increasing flexibility and lowering risks

So, if your organisation isn't already implementing automation within their business activities, now is the time to consider it.

"The goal of automation is to abstract all of that so you can have more agility, and these processes are made easier and faster" - Phil Mottram, President at Aruba

Network as a Service

What is it?

Network as a Service (NaaS), has emerged in recent years as a flexible consumption model for networking. Organisations have come to an agreement that a NaaS provider can become a strategic partner for supplying enterprise-grade cloud and edge network access connectivity to their businesses.

Why do you need it?

There are a number of reasons why organisations should consider deploying NaaS. The main one being access to new technology quickly and efficiently. This includes the latest security advancements and business-advancing functionality of network hardware and software. Another would be reducing operating costs. Implementing NaaS enhances operations to identify and resolve problems before they impact users, freeing up your IT team to work on priority tasks.

What are the benefits?

  • Increase productivity - IT users can rely on a trusted NaaS provider for the day-to-day management of the network, freeing up their time to focus on priority tasks
  • Enhanced security of the network - NaaS
deployments leverage the latest and most secure network infrastructure.
  • Scale and efficiencies - Organisations can rely on powerful cloud-based management platforms and have dynamic scalability of network infrastructure.

"Customers are embracing NaaS. They are looking to adopt and it's rapidly growing" - Donna Grothjan, Vice President of Worldwide Channels, Aruba
