Throughout July, our amazing volunteers visited beaches in our local communities to clear up litter that would otherwise harm the environment.
Rain or shine, the team went to Barry and Cardiff bay to collect as much plastic and rubbish as they could and disposed of it safely.
Why did we get involved?
Approximately 5,000 items of marine plastic pollution have been found per mile of beach in the UK. Our community is really important to us and so is our environmental impact, so we were keen to get involved to not only help clean up our local area but to hopefully have a positive impact on the environment.
