Earlier this month CEO, Roger Harry and Head of Support Services, Martyn John attended Autotask’s Community Live conference in Miami, Florida.
Autotask is a cloud-based IT business management platform that enables efficiency, accountability and access to key information that drives intelligent business decisions. The event focused on business, insight and success with business roundtables, best practice sessions and product training on the agenda over the 3 days.
The event opened with Autotask CEO Mark Cattini addressing the recent losses felt by those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma with the company pledging to support OneAmerciaAppeal.org to help the on-going recovery efforts.
Moving onto the IT services conversation some of the key takeaways from the event included the importance of Managed Service Providers changing and developing to remain relevant and to help their clients to transform.
Delivering the keynote at the annual partner conference was none other than former US President Bill Clinton. He shared his thoughts on a range of topics including his decision to unscramble GPS signals, leadership, the world leaders he admires, his observations on running a business and what really exists at Area 51! Roger had that honour of meeting Mr Clinton as well as hearing his truly inspiring speech.
